Suna Tüfekcibasi presented interior paintings which reflect her own household at her graduation exhibition. She declared “Painting is both a pre-designed period of the creation of an aim, as well as the single action of covering the surface of an empty canvas with the colors prepared on the pallette. This period covers the artist’s relationship with the object, and the universal perception of the artist as the subject” in the foreword of her master thesis. Her late works are inspired from the nature; they develop a color-oriented style rich in lines that provides a perspective to observe the action process. Her sense of completion is present in these expressive paintings that are censored with rhythmic energy, leading to an abstraction of the relationship time and space.
